1. Introduction
This policy explains how users may request deletion of accounts and associated data while balancing privacy rights with legal, operational, security, and regulatory obligations.
2. User Rights Regarding Data Deletion
- Account removal
- Personal data eradication
- Document scrubbing
- Billing history cleanup where legally permitted
- Consent revocation
- Compliance review of deletion requests
3. Account Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion through platform features, support channels, or a formal request. Requests must be verified before processing.
Verification Requirements
- Government-issued ID
- Business registration documentation
- Email verification confirmation
- Proof of billing ownership or payment history
4. Data Deletion Process
After verification, platform access is terminated, eligible identifiers and uploaded files are removed where possible, invoice records are removed unless legal retention applies, and future AI training use is restricted where technically feasible.
5. Data That May Be Retained
- Legally required audit logs
- Financial and accounting records
- Fraud prevention and security records
- Legal claims or dispute records
- Regulatory reporting documentation
6. Financial & Transaction Record Retention
Financial records may be retained for regulatory compliance, including transactions, subscriptions, tax reports, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and compliance documents.
7. AI & System Backups
Deleted information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups for resilience and integrity until backup archives are recycled.
8. Irreversible Deletion Notice
- Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
- Permanently deleted data cannot be recovered.
- Historical invoices removed from active systems cannot be reinstated.
- Subscription and billing history may no longer be accessible.
9. Suspension vs. Deletion
Suspension is temporary and may occur for security, payment, compliance, fraud, or policy reasons. Permanent deletion terminates the account, removes eligible data, and closes platform access.
10. Fraud Prevention & Compliance Retention
AML and KYC obligations may require retention of records. Accounts involved in investigations may be subject to extended retention periods.
11. Third-Party Data Processors
Deletion requests may be communicated to cloud, payment, AI, and security providers, though their processing timelines may vary.
12. International Data Handling
User information may be processed and stored through secure global infrastructure with safeguards during storage, transfer, and deletion.
13. User Responsibilities Before Deletion
Users should download invoices, export reports, resolve subscriptions, and retain documents necessary for accounting and compliance before deletion.
14. Re-Registration After Deletion
Users who delete accounts may generally register again, but we may deny registration for policy violations or fraud.
15. Children's Data
Services are for adults 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this policy to reflect legal, operational, or technological changes. Updates take effect upon publication.
